Peter A. Russo, DDS

Dr. Russo received his DDS degree and a Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Southern California. Dr. Russo has practiced periodontics and implant surgery in Huntington Beach since 1996. He is a former clinical professor at the USC School of Dentistry Department of Advanced Periodontology. Dr. Russo has published scientific articles and lectures to other dentists concerning the field of Periodontology and Dental Implants.

Dr. Russo provides the highest level of patient care in periodontics and dental implant surgery including the use of the most up-to-date proven techniques and technologies available. Dr. Russo is a member of several professional organizations including American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology and Western Society of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration and the California Society of Periodontology.

Dr. Russo is Past President of the Western Society of Periodontology, an organization focused on providing unbiased continuing education to Periodontists, general dentists and dental hygienists in the Western United States, Canada and parts of Mexico. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the WSP Foundation. Dr. Russo is also a former Director on the Executive Committee of the California Society of Periodontology.

Dr. Russo has been voted “America’s Top Dentists” for several years for his work in periodontics and implant surgery. He is featured in Orange Coast Magazine as one of the Top Orange County Periodontist and Implant Specialist annually since 2010. Dr. Russo received the USC Periodontology Award for Outstanding Achievement in Periodontology during the Four-Year Doctoral Program. He was awarded several Certificates of Recognition for his achievement and contribution during his time at the USC School of Dentistry. Dr. Russo was recognized for his Outstanding Service as a Faculty Member as an assistant clinical professor of Periodontics at the USC School of Dentistry. The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation awarded him Recognition for his Outstanding Support and Dedication for supporting the improvement of the periodontal and general health of the public.

When not practicing periodontics, Dr. Russo enjoys gardening, fishing, traveling, attending sporting events and spending time with his wife Anna and their two children, Peter and Sophia.
